TOPIC: MITIGATING THE PUBLIC HEALTH EFFECTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE

The greatest effects of climate change on social and environmental factors are clean air, safe drinking water, sufficient food and secure shelter. Live examples of this can already be seen globally. In addition to this, several countries have to face other problems locally such as natural disasters and the reappearance of several diseases. These consequences will impact mostly the poorest people and will further deteriorate inequities. The solution will demand global engagement however there are no frameworks proposed for it. At the same time, it is about human survival and whether individual societies and the world as a whole can find the proper way to solve this urging question.

All of the countries play a major role in this topic, as they are a part, majorly or minorly, in contributing to climate change. Developing countries, such as China and India, moreover are the main target not just because of their initially harmfull levels of pollutants (that contributed to the greater and increased effect of climate change), but also because of their quick, responsive and promising initiatives that they have taken in order to aid resolve and preserve the future of Earth. Developed countries, are opportunity a step ahead and are already on the stage of evaluating previously implied strategies, and are thus implementing and planning new strategies and initiatives in order to help solve this problem.

Delegates, we encourage you to take part in this council and debate for this topic - as not only is this a very realistic and modern matter-of-fact, but also, it requires your skills and reasoning beyond your representation of your country.
